Ali Prato Book Giveaway

1. Giveaway Overview
Building Families Alliance of Wisconsin (BFA-WI) is hosting a children's book giveaway featuring four books generously donated by author and infertility advocate Ali Prato, creator of Infertile AF.
The purpose of this giveaway is to help connect families who have experienced infertility or used assisted reproductive technologies with children's books that celebrate the many ways families are built.
Four eligible participants will be randomly selected to each receive one book.
2. Giveaway Period
The giveaway begins on October 21, 2026, upon publication of the official giveaway announcement on BFA-WI's social media accounts.
The giveaway closes on November 5, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Central Time.
Entries received after the deadline will not be eligible.
3. Eligibility
The giveaway is open to legal residents of Wisconsin who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
Participants do not need to have experienced infertility or undergone fertility treatment to be eligible.
Members of the BFA-WI steering committee, individuals administering the giveaway, and their immediate family members are not eligible to win.
No purchase, donation, voting, voter registration, or other financial contribution is required.
4. How to Enter
Participants may enter through the official BFA-WI giveaway announcement on either Facebook or Instagram.
To enter:

Locate the official Ali Prato Book Giveaway post on BFA-WI's Facebook or Instagram account.

Leave a comment indicating which of the four featured books you would most like to receive.
Limit one entry per person across both platforms.
Commenting multiple times or entering on both Facebook and Instagram will not increase the chances of winning.
Following BFA-WI, tagging friends, and sharing the giveaway are encouraged but are not required for entry.
5. Giveaway Prizes
Four winners will each receive one of the following books generously donated by Ali Prato:

Petri Dish Princess
Each winner will receive one book.
Winners will be contacted in the order their names are randomly drawn and invited to select their preferred book from the remaining available titles.
Book selections are subject to availability.
Approximate retail value: $19.99 each ($80 total value).
Prizes have no cash redemption value and may not be exchanged for cash.
BFA-WI will arrange shipment of the books to the winners at no cost.
6. Winner Selection
Four winners will be randomly selected from all eligible entries on or about November 6, 2026.
Each eligible participant will have an equal chance of winning.
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
BFA-WI will make reasonable efforts to identify duplicate entries submitted across Facebook and Instagram.
7. Winner Notification
Winners will be contacted through the Facebook or Instagram account used to enter.
Selected winners must respond within 48 hours of notification to claim their prize.
If a winner does not respond within that period, declines the prize, or is determined to be ineligible, BFA-WI may randomly select an alternate winner.
Winners will be asked to provide a valid Wisconsin mailing address for prize delivery.
8. Privacy
Personal information collected from winners, including mailing addresses, will be used only for administering the giveaway and delivering prizes.
Personal mailing information will not be publicly shared or used for marketing purposes.
BFA-WI may request permission to announce winners' first names, last initials, or social media usernames.
9. Voting and Civic Participation
This giveaway is independent of any election, political candidate, or political party.
Voting, registering to vote, sharing an "I Voted" sticker, or disclosing voting activity is not required to enter or win.
Participation in any voting-related activity does not increase the chances of winning.
10. Social Media Disclaimer
This giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, or Meta.
By entering, participants acknowledge that the giveaway is administered solely by Building Families Alliance of Wisconsin and release Facebook, Instagram, and Meta from responsibility related to the promotion to the extent permitted by applicable law.
11. General Conditions
BFA-WI reserves the right to verify eligibility and disqualify entries that violate these official rules.
BFA-WI may modify, suspend, or cancel the giveaway if fraud, technical failures, or other circumstances beyond its reasonable control compromise the integrity of the promotion, subject to applicable law.
The giveaway is void where prohibited by law.
