For many families, an infertility diagnosis is not the largest barrier to becoming a parent. Sadly, the largest barrier is cost. Call & leave message for your State Senator and State Assembly Representative. Go ahead and call the office of your elected leaders and briefly ask them to "keep infertility coverage in State Budget". First things first, click on the button below to look up who represents you. When you call:

  • Identify yourself by name, address and home town within the legislator's district.

  • Let them know you are pro-family and that you  support infertility treatment and fertility preservation coverage included in the 2023 State Budget.

  • Feel free to share your story and let them know why infertility treatment coverage matters to you.

  • Ask if your legislator is pro-family and if they will be working to keep infertility treatment coverage in the state budget.

  • No matter how they answer, thank them for their time and let them know you'll be following up with them during the state budget process.

  • You can also leave your phone number so the legislator or staff can follow up with  you for more insight

  • Be positive! Do not be abusive and do not threaten your legislator.

  • Note that you are not likely to speak directly to your elected representative. It's still incredibly powerful to speak to a legislative aide or to leave a voice mail message.
